Website delivery and security
We use Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend Street, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA, to host and deliver this website through Cloudflare Pages. Technical connection data, including your IP address, request time, requested resource and browser information, is processed to deliver the page and protect the service. Network error reports may also be processed for connection diagnostics. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR: our legitimate interest in providing a reliable and secure website.
Cloudflare also provides authoritative DNS for our domain, so browsers and email services can locate the website and mail servers. Technical DNS request data may be processed to operate and secure this service on the same legal basis.
Cloudflare processes website data on our behalf under data processing terms. Processing may take place worldwide, including in the United States. Where required, international transfers are subject to the safeguards described in Cloudflare’s Data Processing Addendum, including standard contractual clauses. You can request information about the applicable safeguards from us. Cloudflare’s privacy policy explains its own processing and retention practices.
We do not maintain our own identifiable visitor log or add application logs containing form submissions. Technical data is retained only as needed to deliver the service, investigate errors or abuse, and meet applicable legal obligations. Provider retention depends on the type of technical record and its operational purpose.
Video, fonts and analytics
The film and fonts are hosted with the website. Playing the film retrieves the video file from our hosting service. We do not embed a third-party video player, add advertising trackers or use website analytics. No Brevo website tracker is loaded.
Animation preferences
You can pause or resume the background animation with the small playback button in the footer. Your device’s reduced-motion preference is respected initially. The public website uses fixed animation settings and does not store animation preferences in your browser. Your playback choice applies only to the current page visit and is not sent to us.
Beta registration
Beta registration is currently unavailable on this website. There is no signup form, and this website does not send email addresses or user-group information to Brevo or store signup records in a database. This notice will be updated before registration is introduced.
Email and other contact
If you contact us, we process your contact details and the information in your message to answer your enquiry. Our email mailbox is hosted by IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Straße 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany. Depending on your enquiry, the legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR for steps relating to a contract, Article 6(1)(c) GDPR for legal obligations, or Article 6(1)(f) GDPR for handling other correspondence.
We retain correspondence for as long as necessary to handle the enquiry and any follow-up, or for any applicable statutory retention period. Information that is no longer needed is deleted, unless continued retention is required to comply with a legal obligation or establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
Postal correspondence
For postal correspondence we use Online-Impressum, operated by Clear-Media UG (haftungsbeschränkt), Europaring 90, 53757 Sankt Augustin, Germany. Clear-Media receives, opens and digitizes letters addressed to us and makes scans available through its online portal. This may involve senders’ names, addresses, other contact information, correspondence contents and information about people mentioned in letters.
Clear-Media acts on our instructions as a processor under Article 28 GDPR. The legal basis for organizing this postal service is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR: reliable and efficient handling of correspondence while protecting our private address. The legal basis and retention for the correspondence itself depend on its purpose and applicable legal duties. See Clear-Media’s privacy notice for provider information.
Your rights
Subject to the conditions in applicable data protection law, you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability. You may withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future. Where we rely on legitimate interests, you may object to processing on grounds relating to your particular situation. You may object to direct marketing at any time.
You may complain to a data protection supervisory authority, in particular in the country of your habitual residence, place of work or the alleged infringement. You can exercise your rights using the contact details above. We do not use automated decision-making or profiling to make decisions about you, and we do not sell personal information.
Providing personal information through a contact enquiry is voluntary. Without the details necessary to answer, we may be unable to handle your request. Further information about your rights is available in the General Data Protection Regulation.
